Exceptional
Disliked: Double room size was too small
Four days wasted on what should have been vacation time. Don’t make our mistake
Liked: The staff did a decent job and clearly tried to compensate for the BlueSun hotel’s network systemic failures
Disliked: Common areas: The atrium—your only escape from the room—closes at 11 PM. You’re not politely asked to leave. You’re evicted onto the roadside where drunk tourists swarm and noise never stops. No quiet space, no respect for guests who simply want to sit in peace. Breakfast: The worst meal I’ve experienced across all hotels ever. Moldy berries served without apology, pathetically minimal selection, stale bread, weak coffee. You’re paying premium prices for third-rate food. It’s insulting. Overall atmosphere: Counting down hours to escape. Every day felt like a sentence, not a vacation. We weren’t relaxing—we were enduring. The real problem: BlueSun’s entire model is guest exploitation. Maximum revenue, minimum investment in comfort or dignity. Friends at other BlueSun properties reported identical experiences. This isn’t a chain—it’s a cash extraction operation.
Great hotel, staff and location, beach area great!
Liked: Easy checkin, parking simple and the guy on reception was great, took me round and showed me the key to open lock the pop up post, he also walked me round to get a sim card in a local shop later in our stay. The staff in the hotel were great, notably the main guy who's name escapes me and Apple, friendly and attentive. Loungers on beach easy to pop a towel on and free while you have a great breakfast, buffet plus a hot choice cooked to order. WiFi great and worked on beach. Peaceful courtyard to be away from strip. Loads of good food options! Our cleaner even lent our 2 boys some body boards! Outstanding, would recommend!
Disliked: Nothing
Good selections for breakfast.Hristian and all hotel staff were very friendly and helpful
Liked: Beautiful hotel
Liked: Great hotel with nice charm, staff is amazing, food is exceptional and location can’t be any better. Literally everything you can ask for is available.
Expensive, beautifully designed hotel with nothing more to offer. Would not recommend
Liked: Honestly, the only positive review I can give is that the hotel and rooms are clean and beautifully designed.
Disliked: Parking - This hotel is pricey, and parking is not included in the cost. There is not ample parking on this property for hotel guests - one of the staff had to ride with us in our car to a parking lot behind the property that definitely was not tied to the hotel. Cars were parked haphazardly and double parked - we were advised to park behind another car, and when we asked if this would be an issue, the staff member told us "it should be fine if you're only staying 1 night". This did not give us any confidence, and we weren't sure if we were going to be asked to move our car at any point during our stay. I'm fine to pay for parking, but not if the experience is like this. Service - The service was BAD. The entire staff seemed completely uninterested in doing their jobs or providing any service whatsoever. They were neither attentive nor quick to respond to any of our needs during our stay. For example, when having dinner at the restaurant and trying to salt my (very bland) food and clearly struggling because the salt grinder isn't working, and 4 of the servers are watching me struggle and not approaching the table to assist, that's a problem. Again, this is a pricey hotel and I do expect at least the bare minimum, which I did not receive. In summary, all of the staff seemed annoyed to have to do anything at all, and there was absolutely zero initiative to provide any service unless asked. Food - The food was bland and almost inedible. My partner ordered the tuna steak and it was very overcooked, to the point he didn't eat it. I ordered the chicken and it was also overcooked. At the start of our meal, we ordered a meat + cheese platter and had to ask for plates as there were none on our table. Lastly, all of the images on booking.com and the hotel's website are misleading, and make it seem like a quiet and secluded beachfront property. Instead, the beach is PACKED with touristy chaos. Very little room to relax.
