  Wonderful service at a unique Opatija hotel

  Liked: The location, the room and the staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful! Everyone was truly friendly and helpful. This was greatly appreciated as we were travelling with our baby. The location was also exquisite as we were able to easily go into the park and walk to the promenade with a stroller. Absolutely recommend!

  Losing its previous reputation

  Liked: The location was good and garage access was a plus. Friendly and helpful staff.

  Disliked: The facilities were in somewhat disrepair. This is a former grand hotel of the past century but it is not being maintained to those previous higher standards. For example the bed frame squeaked, the shower doors were misaligned. The sea view was obscured by trees and the newer modern hotel next door. The buffet dinner was overpriced and unappealing and water was not included!

  Luxury hotel, beautiful, nice stay

  Liked: The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was truly varied—among the best. A lovely, pet-friendly hotel. A magnificent view from our room's balcony. The hotel building itself is beautiful and cozy. It is clean everywhere. Room was clean. The room parquet floor was a luxury. Big tv.

  Disliked: The bed was poor and past its prime; the toilet was from the 80s. There was mold, etc. The parking area was very cramped and awkward. I've seen better.parking place was sepatrely building.
