  Liked: Breakfast - especially the pancakes. The staff was very polite and nice.

  Disliked: On the day of checkout, you cannot access the spa area anymore and have to pay to use it.

  Charming, grand old hotel with great staff and the most amazing breakfast. Bit of road noise

  Liked: In its prime this hotel must have been magnificent. Everything is on a grand scale, rooms, ceiling heights, public spaces. We had a large corner room at the front with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were very good, friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast is amazing.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, between the hotel and the sea runs the main road through the town and this was rather noisy which detracted from our enjoyment of the lovely room. As a general comment, there is a general sense of faded grandeur which we found charming but if you like everything super modern and sharp you may be disappointed.

  Liked: Amazing hotel. The breakfast room was straight out of the movie! Amazing staff, very unique and clean rooms. The ceilings in the rooms are so so high, which is very nice. The location was perfect, it is the central location in Opatija. Amazing experience, will definitely stay here again. The staff was super helpful with parking as well. And they have a big parking space which is very safe and close by.
