  Great location next to the start of the 12 km Promenade!

  Liked: Huge and beautiful apartment with a nice, large balcony with table/chairs/couch and nice views to water over rooftops. The fridge was stocked with all we needed for food/snacks. Communications with owner, despite a death in the family the day of our arrival, was excellent. Availability of parking space (see below)

  Disliked: I wouldn’t say this was something I didn’t like, but something to be aware of (that others have commented on). Parking here is at a premium. The apartment’s parking spot requires one to walk up/down 95 steps (I counted) and it’s a tight/steep driveway. You have to be comfortable with that. I was and it worked out great!

  Disliked: Everything was great, we really enjoyed it. Just for info - if you bring a bigger paddleboard there is no place to store it.

  Disliked: the parking was little difficult for the firs time use but after twice practice you can do with low car;)

  We had wonderfully relaxing 6 days in Opatija!

  Liked: The apartment is ideally located between several beaches and the center of Opatija. As well, three supermarkets are in the vicinity, and you do not even need your car to go shopping. The aparment owner has a fenced parking lot for the guest's car. We could lend a cot for our 2-year-old from the owner free of charge.

  Disliked: It would have been nice if the cot would've fit in the bedroom. However, this was already specified in the description on Booking.com, and in the end we managed as it was, so no complaints.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Everything was superb, even much better than expected!

  Disliked: The parking is a bit further away (and there are some stairs), so that is a minor inconvenience. However it was also well communicated before arrival, so it was not a surprise.
