Beautiful and clean, but noisy and without the promised parking

Liked: We loved the location, right on the main street and close to everything. The sea view was beautiful, and the terrace was one of the highlights of the stay. The apartment was nicely decorated, very clean, and the bathroom was excellent. The beach is only about a six-minute walk away, there is a park across the street, and a Konzum supermarket and other shops are nearby.

Disliked: The main downside was the noise. Since the apartment is on the main street, there is constant traffic at night, and the restaurant directly below adds even more noise from guests, staff, deliveries and trash collection. You can hear almost everything from inside the apartment. The bigger issue was parking. The listing suggested that parking was available, which was one of the reasons we chose the property, but there was no dedicated parking at all. We were told to use street parking instead, which was usually full and very expensive. Even the cheapest option was around €2 per hour, or roughly €37 per day. This was particularly disappointing because we had specifically searched for accommodation with parking.

Liked: Nice location, furnishing, clean space and great balcony with ocean view!

Disliked: No hot water, difficult to contact owner, be ready for stairs. Worst is the no hot water, there was about 5 minutes of warm water, not enough for 3 people to shower, barely enough for one. The water didn't even restart the next day, still cold water. It's a small tub with a hand hose, no shower curtain at all. I'm handicapped so it was hard to step in, very high, and while standing the water would splash everywhere in the room.

Short stop over and refresh in Opatija

Liked: Lock box pick up was fine once we located it.

Disliked: There was no mention about the front door of the building being unlocked so we didn't know that we could get in to where the lock box was located.
