  I highly recommend staying in this hotel

  Liked: Miramar was one of few location I was looking for years and never decided to visit before 2026. Now that I checked and experienced a very friendly, professional and well organized place it may stay as one of my favourites also in the years to come. No promises yet, but I would be very happy to experience the Miramar again and again. Have a nice stay for all of you, who will in the future experience my experience.

  Disliked: Almost impeccable. Almost because I'd like to stay longer in the hotel. 1,5 hours from my home, 150 years of tourism, perfect weather, impeccable sea, well organized, fair prices, perfect food, and special thanks to the chef, and to waiters and waitresses, clean overall. I particularly enjoyed their interesting museum of Habsburgic period. Excellent.

  Liked: Beautiful rooms had the hotel itself had so many luxurious elements. We loved the spa too - it felt very special.

  Disliked: Nothing really - perhaps a few more signs around to guide you when you first arrive but otherwise it was gorgeous.

  Amazing

  Liked: We had an amazing time at this hotel — unfortunately, we only booked it for one night as we were already on our way back home. After staying in Krk and spending time at Baška Beach, I was quite surprised by how crowded the beaches were and realised that this type of holiday is simply not for me. When we arrived at this hotel, it honestly felt like we had arrived in paradise. It was such a lovely change to see so much greenery and have the beautiful water right next to the hotel. The whole setting was peaceful, relaxing and exactly what I was looking for. I was especially delighted that the hotel provides sun loungers for guests without any additional fee or the need to reserve them. There is also a fantastic seawater swimming pool, a lovely deck with loungers, and direct access to the sea from the decking. It was such a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings without having to fight for space on a crowded beach. We had a room with a sea view, and everything about the room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the room was peaceful, and we didn’t hear any noise from neighbouring rooms. The food was also delicious, which made our short stay even more enjoyable. All I can say is that I cannot wait to book this hotel again next year when we plan to return to Croatia. This time, we definitely want to stay for many more days! I really hope the hotel maintains the same standards because I would love for this to become our regular place to stay whenever we return to Croatia. It truly felt like we had discovered a hidden gem.

  Disliked: If there is one thing I would recommend improving, it would be the Air con in the breakfast and dinner area. It was extremely hot when we stayed, and unfortunately there wasn’t much of a breeze coming through, which made sitting and eating less comfortable than it could have been. This was particularly noticeable at dinner, especially as the hotel has a dress code. My husband was still ok to wear shorts, but I can imagine that wearing more formal clothing in such high temperatures could be quite uncomfortable. Some air conditioning or another way of improving airflow would make the dining experience much more pleasant.

  Peaceful seaside stay in Austrian style. Private Beach

  Liked: The hotel looks like a beautiful castle, preserving its original Austro-Hungarian style. Its greatest advantage is the private beach, with plenty of sun loungers for all guests. Having a private beach creates an incredible sense of peace and privacy. The sea is wonderfully clean, and the whole atmosphere is truly a balm for the soul. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Yes, the hotel is quite expensive, but it is absolutely worth it. We originally booked only two nights, but already on the second day we decided to extend our stay to five nights. And we are so glad we did. A truly wonderful and relaxing stay by the sea. Gardens are also Very nice. Underground parking. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.

  Disliked: We only have one point. The hotel dinners are high-quality and tasty; however, around 80–90% of the dishes contain milk or cream. We really appreciated that the kitchen always made an effort to prepare at least one lactose-free dish specifically for us. That was very kind and we are grateful for it. However, we honestly wonder whether it is necessary to add milk or cream to almost everything, especially in such hot weather. Even otherwise simple dishes, such as pasta or tomato risotto, contained milk or cream. It would be great to have more naturally dairy-free options. Our second point is the price of dinner. When a hotel charges €50 for dinner, we feel that at least still water should be included. Having to pay extra for basic water on top of an already expensive dinner feels unnecessarily greedy. Apart from these points, we were very happy with our stay and would still gladly recommend the hotel.
