  Liked: The host, Jelena was delightful. She told us where everything was and even the best route to take in Plitvace Lakes NP. The location was great, paved trail, about 15 minute walk to Lakes. Washing machine much appreciated. Very comfortable 2 night stay.

  Value for money

  Liked: I’d call the property as “10 minutes’ run to the lakes,” since walking takes more like 20–25 minutes, or around 30 when it’s icy and you have to go slowly. Still, we didn’t mind the walk, and it’s a lovely place with everything you need.

  Disliked: There aren’t many restaurants around, just three within a 30-minute walk, and the only nearby shop closes far too early on Sundays at 1 p.m.—unfortunately, that was the day we arrived. Without a car, it was a bit of a challenge, but we made it work!
