Fabulous
Good guest house value for money. Just serves its purpose for lake visit
Liked: Walking distance to the lake 15 to 25 minutes and 3 minutes walk from bus stop which was amazing so the zagreb bus passes by that stop.And close to restaurant where we ate wonderful burger n pizza and fries. Guesthouse was overall good, no complains.I made a mistake with the booking, basically i needed to stay 2 nights but booked 1 night, it showed sold out. But when I contacted the gentleman he said not to worry and we got additional one day booked. Also as it was raining the gentleman provided his umbrella as we had just one. So if your looking for something within the budget just to watch the plitvice lakes it is good enough.
Disliked: The electricity tripped often when you use the kettle.but you can just put back the mains. ( better to fix this one's and for all) But to new guest they were like wondering what went wrong. The bed surface felt rough..like something in matress, but we covered it with thick sheet so dint bother us later. The corridor area to go upstairs some smell not sure what it was.like damp. But inside the room it was ok so no issues. The main door was touching the floor and was very noisy every time you open... you could here it upstairs. But the guest living on ground floor was furious n was yelling, especially when we entered. But later he tried to fix himself, he said he was aware of these handy jobs. Hahaha. These are few things the guest house could sort out.. I listed them so hopefully it helps.
Liked: The staff really nice and very convenient next to a restaurant and mini market, bus station and entrancev2v of lakes is a nice 10 min walk
Liked: Location is perfect if you want to visit the park without a private transport. Mukinje bus stop is about 100 mts walk and all the buses (Flixbus and the Croatian agency Knezevic) stop there on their way to Zadar. Staff (Slaven) was absolutely helpful and very responsive. We needed to leave our lugagge and he found the way to keep them safe after checking out.
Disliked: Bed was too soft for my taste but I understand some people could prefer it in that way.
Not so good experience
Liked: The receptionist was very warm, kind and informative. The location is very nice and close to the park. Also, we liked that our room had a low table and a small fridge.
Disliked: We really didn't like the bed linens. They smelled badly and they were very old and worn out. We felt very akward to sleep on them. The mattress was also very old and not comfortable. Also, the heating was done with air condition which means that the atmosphere was very dry. Definitely not a 4 star experience.
Great nature break, very peaceful
Liked: Close to bus, arrived from Zagreb, easy checkin, good host, comfy bed, great shower
Disliked: It was perfect for a night, to visit Plitvice Lakes, which takes 2 days to do it all
