  Liked: A fairytale-like countryside setting. A peaceful, family-friendly neighbourhood. It was a real treat to watch the sheepdog herding the cows and the ducks swimming in the stream. The accommodation was fully equipped to meet all our needs. Spotting wild animals in the area is also a wonderful experience.

  Disliked: It’s worth making sure you’re well prepared before you go there, as the nearest shop and restaurant are quite a distance away. This isn’t meant as a criticism at all. It’s simply a fact of the location, but it’s worth bearing in mind.

  Fantastic stay in the heart of the national park

  Liked: Whilst the location is rural this is exactly it's charm. There is an 8km road through the forest that gets you to the main road and park entrances. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped and right in the heart of the national park ( which is much larger than just the falls). Supermarket and restaurants within driving distance but the drive is breathtaking so part of the experience. The owner is on hand and provided a welcome breakfast for a moderate charge. Very peaceful location and great for watching the world go by from your balcony with a glass of something nice!

  Disliked: N/A Just for awareness there is no oven but a two burner hob and microwave. Perfectly adequate for dishes like pasta and chicken. The dishwasher is not working but washing up facilities provided so not an issue.
