Exceptional
Liked: The room was in an older building on the third floor. It was a out of the way, but the directions given were excellent. It was within walking distance of the bus and train stations.
Liked: Lovely and big apartment! We only stayed for one night, it is very silent, you have coffee and water for free. Good shower with hot water, and the bed was huge! The host was available at all times
Disliked: No elevator and it is first Flor but you have two stairs but for one night is fine
Liked: For our 1 night it was comfortable, clean & close to the bus station & old town.

If you're taking the ferry and need to haul luggage, this is a good place to stay
Liked: This room is perfect if you need to catch a ferry. It took 15 minutes with luggage to walk from the hotel to the farthest ferry dock. (It took an additional 5 minutes to find the ferry dock because the location on the Ferry Hopper App was wrong, so 20 minutes in total.). I recommend you ask for explicit instructions on how to find Antares Rooms. They will provide excellent instructions. The bed was a little bigger than a queen and maybe a little longer than usual. The room was small but new and clean. They even left 2 bottles of water in the mini-fridge (which we didn’t need because European tap water is healthy (unlike the U.S.).
Disliked: There is no person to greet you but all the correspondence I had thru Booking.com as immediately responded to. The outside of the building and the stairwell looks awful but the Antares hallway and rooms were great.
Liked: Being in Split, close to Old Town and exceptional Restaurants less than 100 m away
Disliked: Having to take 3 fimlights of stairs to room. But we did get help from our hosts
