Perfect location. Lovely room
HORRIBLE!
Liked: The location was the only redeeming factor of this establishment.
Disliked: Apparently a switch to a different accommodation than what was selected when booked. My fault for not verifying the confirmation. This apartment was very difficult to find. Thank heavens for GPS, as there was no assistance from the owner who later cited internet problems. Once we located the apartment, we discovered that the room I was given was on the ground floor, 20ft away from a busy restaurant. Not the room with a balcony as booked. The one window was barred and covered with heavy curtains. No natural light at all. In addition to being dark and dreary, the TV did not work, the refrigerator was warm, and the reading light did not work. The entertainment was listening to the restaurant patrons until midnight. We contacted the owner about the TV and lamp. We were told the earliest they would look at it was the day after check-out. If things weren't bad enough, on the second day we were privileged to be met by a pile of human excrement outside the main apartment entrance. I can't fault the owner for this one. When we arrived home, I contacted Booking.com about this dismal situation. They did their best to reach an agreement with the owner who refused to negotiate any amount of refund. Booking.com did issue me a nominal account credit. In summary; the pictures of this place were so inviting and again the location was good, however, the lack of management accountability, the bait and switch and the cess pool of a room should keep you looking!
Great place to stay to visit Split
Liked: Room superbly placed in the city center, with loads to do close by. The room was big and clean, with easy and autonomous access
Very cute apartment in a central location
Liked: It was so centrally located but quiet. It was very cute inside.
Disliked: We thought from the photos that we would have a balcony, but the photos were of a different unit. We could have sat outside though as it was a peaceful little area.
Great location terrible service
Liked: Location was great and layout was fine.
Disliked: Attention to guests was terrible. Check in Was abysmal. No instructions and WhatsApp number didn't work. Nor did they respond to email. Apartment indicated toiletries and there were none.
Liked: Nothing. Did not stay.
Disliked: !. Could not find location. 2. Unable to contact anyone connected with the location. 3. Was unable to stay and needed to find another place to stay. Terrrible experience.
