Exceptional
Liked: The room was basic but comfortable and offered some good views of Split and the sea! The hotel was just a short walk from the town center - perfect for exploring.
Disliked: The building itself was a little sad and not that charming.
Had a comfortable stay
This is a suite of rooms - not a hotel
Liked: Location - a short walk from the Palace. Adequate breakfast downstairs. Gentleman at reception very helpful with suggestions for trips and booking early morning taxi.
Disliked: This is not a hotel but two floors of rooms in a business center. Rooms were good size but lacked basics like a coffee machine, a chair to sit on (barstools are uncomfortable). No human intervention for large parts of the day. Noisy at night with group travelers. Electricity totally off for some time on 6th floor. Nobody around.
Liked: Felt very safe in this hotel, room was very nice, perfect for 2 friends. Breakfast was very good, easy access to restaurant and great that it goes to 11am.
Liked: Clean comfortable room's with all basic facilities. Helpful front desk. Breakfast nice but fixed menu, tasty with take away facility, we love it. Over all satisfactory pleasant stay.
Disliked: Nothing to complain for that price. Private home like feeling. No room service, no lobby.
Liked: The location is great! Great view from the window, quiet but very close to Riva and sea. The soundproof in the room was great, I didn't hear neighbors at all. The room and bathroom are very convenient, with a good shower.There are enough towel racks and space for toiletries in the bathroom. The room looks like in photos, I liked a huge bed, to have a proper rest after the day. Very clean room, no strains. We had a late check in, but it wasn't a problem, we got the key from the guard. Also we requested a taxi via the hotel and it was also very good. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby, no need to take a bus or taxi.
Disliked: The breakfast facility is not nice at all. Slow, forgetting orders. You can wait for a table to be cleaned for half an hour, just to sit down and make an order. You can order 1 meal and 2 drinks if you buy breakfast in the hotel, but portions and food quality are not nice. We tried the same breakfast in another cafe nearby and it was way better for the same money. Small but important note about the room - there was an unpleasant smell, like a smell from a basement. The smell is stronger at the head of the bed.
