The hotel fulfilled its purpose as we were in transit for our gullet trip

Liked: Good location, walking distance to the old town and the dock where we picked up our gullet. The staff were absolutely charming and very helpful

Disliked: Well our room was close to the reception and swimming pool which was good, however our room had only a small window which overlooked the entrance to the reception’s toilet! The hotel was a little difficult to find and our lovely receptionist took the time to come and find us, I think it should have a sign on the wall of the narrow street leading to it!

Liked: Location. Bed linen and pillows. Shower. Rituals toiletries. Staff.

Disliked: Piles of rubbish dumped in the narrow alley ways to the hotel and poor lighting along these alleys.

    Great

Liked: Great shower, bed and ac

Disliked: Challenging to get a taxi or Uber with luggage. When we arrived, slightly before check in, there was no one there. We only waited a few minutes but it was a surprise

Good. We would like to return but the summer prices are overpriced

Liked: Stayed 2 nights in September. Staff were really nice and very willing to help. Room was very clean, well equiped, air con was good. Nice pool, free towels for the beach too!

Disliked: For the price we paid (apx 450 euros) for 2 nights I would have expected a bigger room. There is no bar area, nor relaxing seating area, although there is a terrace overlooking the pool. We looked at returning for summer next year, but the same room rate is around 500 euros for 1 night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because of this, we do not think we would stay again (despite the excellent location) as the cost is simply too high for what is on offer. Yes, the location is excellent, and within the UNESCO area of Split, but 500 euros per night is what some high end luxury hotels would charge. Clearly, even in September, Split was very busy, so I cannot imagine what it is like in the peak season, so I guess with demand comes higher prices, but for us, this cannot be justified in my opinion. However, we did enjoy or stay, even though we feel it was overpriced for the size of the room.

Liked: This review is for Megi. We had a huge problem when we was in Split and Megi was very kind and helpful. Megi helped us resolve this problem. She is a credit to the hotel. Regarding the hotel it’s a lovely quaint hotel in a great position.
