  Great place to stay but forget it if you have a car

  Liked: The location was great. The garden was lovely.

  Disliked: The advertised parking was impossible. Only ever available if you moved there at midnight

  Liked: We booked the room with the terrace. It was a lovely room - with a balcony as well as a terrace. Very comfy bed and the room was overall very nice. Breakfast had made to order crepes / eggs and a nice selection of other items. The parking lot was very close to the hotel which was very convenient. And the main sights were a short walk from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marul!

  Small and nice hotel in a very good location

  Liked: The location is excellent. Check-in was easy despite arriving in the middle of the night. The staff was nice and the balcony in our bedroom were lovely.

  Disliked: Even though the breakfast area in very nice and the staff was friendly the breakfast-food itself was not very good. I would have preferred some fresh fruit, fresh juice and better bread at least at the buffet table.

  Exceptionally Great Hotel

  Liked: Great location, walking distance to shopping, bars, Port of Split and it's exceptionally beautiful waterfront, hotel is very clean with modern amenities, great breakfast and very friendly staff specially the gentleman that checked us in on the evening of July,31/26 and also arranged the taxi from Split airport (SPU), the taxi driver was also very helpful in getting us safely right to the Hotel reception

  Liked: The location is great. The staff are truly very friendly. Due to the season, I stayed on the top floor, but it was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was also very good. There were many flavors to suit different tastes.
