Exceptional
Comfortable and affordable place for a short stay in Split
Liked: Lobby and rooms as shown in the photos. The air conditioning works and the bed is comfortable. There are plenty of towels and extra pillows/sheets in the closet as well as a mini fridge. WiFi works without issues. Bathroom is clean and well lit.
Disliked: It’s not that we didn’t like it, but breakfast is served in a rather small room. Looking back at the photos, we should have expected it. It feels a bit funny when you first walk in if you’re used to large hotels. The food is not bad, but definitely don’t hope for a hotel buffet-style breakfast. Additionally, while the location is good in the sense that it’s not far from the city center and there is free parking (which is a plus), it is in a more dubious-looking part of the city with rundown buildings and unkept lawns, etc. There are no weird people walking around and it’s not unsafe, but don’t expect a fancy building either. Just something to keep in mind.
Liked: Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to the old town, supermarket a few metres away
Disliked: Small step down to the bedroom area. If you don't have the light on it's easy to forget. I did fall, no damage done. Maybe a dark strip on the edge so you can see it when entering the room
Liked: The room was clien, with air condishen. The towel was changing every day, bed staff every second day. Brekfest very good. Very kind reception girls.
nice stay
Liked: Everything was as expected, it worths! The location is about 20 minutes of walk from downtown, but it has a good location, quiet neigherhood and we were able to find some parking spots near.
Liked: Staff is very polite.
Disliked: Small room
Liked: staff were lovely, breakfast was a cold choice of meats, cheese, breads and cereals.
Disliked: The air conditioning in the room smelled like cheese every time we turned it on in the evening. The poor staff were mystified, tuns out by night three they worked out it was the filter needing cleaning (yuk) and by night four our last night it was fixed. Otherwise I would have rated everything as excellent.
