  A slightly overpriced stay in a mediocre hotel with spacious rooms

  Liked: An overpriced hotel that doesn't offer anything really off the charts. It has spacious rooms, and a mediocre buffet breakfast. Rooms could be cleaner, with some permanent stains on the fabric of chairs that ruined the overall feel to it. What is really out of place is the price. I got it with Booking discount and it still felt overpriced for what you are getting.

  Disliked: With all the things you pay extra like the parking and the breakfast, it felt overpriced for what I'm getting.

  VERY CLEAN, NICE STAFF, POOR BREAKFAST, NEVER AGAIN IN SUMMER DUE TO DISASTROUS AIR CONDITIONING

  Liked: Overall, a decent, clean hotel with spacious rooms, a large bathroom, very good bath products, a TV with many international channels, comfortable beds, and windows that can be opened. The housekeeping staff are fantastic, as is the rest of the team—the breakfast staff are very attentive, especially Ms. Snjezana.

  Disliked: However, there are 3 "problem areas" that urgently need improvement: The air conditioning is catastrophic. We couldn't sleep properly in August because it couldn't cool the room below 27°C (80.6°F). We’ve been aware of this issue for three years (we’ve been guests here for six consecutive years) and have always hoped it would be fixed by the following year. We’ve even tried changing rooms in previous years, but the problem seems to lie with the central climate control system. Even the maintenance technician who came to our room couldn't fix it, leaving us with sleepless nights. 2. The breakfast has become increasingly sparse and is certainly not worthy of a 4-star hotel. It is almost shameful that in a Mediterranean country like Croatia, during the height of summer, there is no summer fruit on the breakfast buffet—no watermelon, peaches, grapes, apricots, or any regional fruits. The selection of cheeses and cold cuts is also very sparse—the kind of thing you’d expect at a lower-rated hotel. The quality of the breakfast buffet has declined year after year and is definitely NOT worth it; please see the photos I’ve included with my feedback. 3. In this digital age, it’s unacceptable that guests with separate bookings cannot check in for their entire stay at once. Instead, one has to check in again every single day. In 2026, we will spend 4 nights at the hotel.
