  Clean and functional hotel for a short stay

  Liked: The room was really nice and big and the beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. Even though the road was quite busy, I think the double window really helped with that. Breakfast was fresh and there was plenty of variety with staff bringing food out throughout the service. All staff were really friendly, helpful and polite. This was a great location, just minutes walk from the main square and both lower and upper towns. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby within a minute or two walk.

  Disliked: The room was a bit soulless. The lighting was not very 'soft' and it wasn't very relaxing. It was 'functional' rather than pleasant. There was no shower screen or curtain around the bath which had a shower in it so water went all over the floor of the bathroom. The towel rail broke when we used it. In terms of facilities, there isn't much to offer with no lounge or area to relax in the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and our room wasn't serviced in that time. The base of the bed was peeling apart which made it look a bit scruffy even though it was clean. I feel it was a lot of money for a fairly standard/basic hotel, but I get that we were paying for location.

  Liked: Helpful staff, and the location.

  Disliked: The base of the bed was ripped. Looked old and warn. Even though Booking. com states all taxes and charges are paid. On arrival we were charged for local taxes

  Overall a satisfactory stay

  Liked: Room is spacious and the bathroom is new and clean. Alot of space to put yr clothes. Walking distance to most attractions.

  Disliked: The towels is too old. The bed too soft tends to sunk in.

  Not really worth the money spent

  Liked: Location and room size were great. Breakfast was also good.

  Disliked: My AC did not work and I had a sleepless night. The staff said they turn it off for winter- the temperature was 14 degrees.

  Central location

  Liked: Central location, clean spacious room. Breakfast was also good.

  Disliked: Shower is inside the bath & water goes everywhere. The base of the bed also looked tattered, it was damaged. Mattress also not the best.
