Good
It was overall very nice!
Liked: Great staff people. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: Box of Kleenex would be nice. And a washcloth or two; also another towel or two.
Liked: Location in central Avignon.
Disliked: The pictures on the booking site(looks very nice) doesn’t at all match how the rooms actually look or how small they are. Windows facing dirty backyard. Both hotel and rooms are quite worn (not reflected in pictures on web/booking site). Hardly any greeting from staff.

Well located, but disappointing room
Liked: Good location near the centre square.
Disliked: Our room was very dark, musty and small. The small window looked out to a dirty and dark light well. The photos on the listing were very generous to what the rooms looked like. The room was quite reasonably priced, but it like for each room category, seemed some rooms were much better than others.
Clean and comfortable but not a repeat stay for me
Liked: Bed was comfortable and clean, both bedroom and bathroom were spacious. I requested and got a ground floor room as I didn't wish to navigate stairs. Check in was quick if a little brusque (I was the only one checking in at the time). I was offered and took the opportunity to book breakfast. It was handy to the railway station and the tourist office where most tours leave from as well as restaurants. Breakast was fairly basic and handy to have on site.
Disliked: The front entrance was a little dirty and untidy and it felt like an unsafe area to be in. My room, 100B, backed onto an alley and was located near a door that opened onto the alley. I was woken at about 4am by loud shouting from a group of people who were just the other side of the wall. It was not only loud but sounded like it could get violent at any time. I got up and went looking for the night manager, who ended up going out to ask them to be quiet. It did quiet down but it took some time for me to go back to sleep.
Liked: Location, 24/7 desk, staff, and breakfast.
Disliked: Good thing i don't need a hair dryer. To reach it and to plug it in would have required a basketball player. As it was, the soap dispensers were a stretch. I am not the only short person that will ever stay there.
