  excellent stay! highly recommend

Liked: The hotel was located in an excellent area on a beautiful pedestrian street close to squares and close to great restaurants and cafes. Also near to a lovely walk up to Fourviere. Walking distance to city centre. Great facilities in the hotel with the spa, pool and a lovely bar. Lots of nice spaces thoughout the hotel to sit and read.

Disliked: We loved the duplex room. Loft space was lovely to hibernate to at night. Rooms are very quiet and very clean. Some constructive feedback - Shower in room seems to be in the wrong location. The two armchairs and a table would have been lovely placed where the shower was located, at the window. Sink in toilet room would bave been nice and maybe shower placed where sink is located.

Beautiful hotel in great location in the heart of the old town

Liked: Extremely beautiful building, tastefully decorated and in the perfect location. We really liked our suite. There was a Sumptuous breakfast, with a great range of items. The dining hall is incredible. The staff were very helpful, Polite and attentive staff for the most part.

Disliked: The fitness room was unfortunately closed for renovation and the spa facilities were not as expected for a 5* hotel. The sauna and steam room needed to be started by the guest and then take 15/20 mins before ready for use. We were not asked at checkout how we had found our stay which I found unusual and a missed opportunity.

Liked: The hotel is "exceptional". Knowing it was a Radisson, we did not expect much, but from the greating outside the front door, to the entire experience, it was wonderful. The hotel itself is masterfully renovated from four existing buildings starting in the 1300's! It is located in Old Lyon, so even though it was pouring rain when we went to dinner, it is surrounded by many restaurants and so it was just a short walk away to dinner!

Great Location, Excellent team working there!

Liked: The location is excellent. Right in the heart of the old town. The staff are also superb. The got us restaurant reservations at some very good places nearby and help get the car parked, and us to it during the annual marathon that closes down the city. Great team!

Disliked: You need to be certain to call ahead for parking as it is in a pedestrian only area and you need a code to get into this area. The breakfast buffet is good, but the scrambled eggs need to be better cooked.
