  nice hotel and nice people, but breakfast let it down

  Liked: There were quite a few steps to get to the hotel, however that did not bother us really, but it might others. The room was nice and bright and the receptionist was lovely. However, what let it down was the breakfast. You had to pay extra for eggs, cheese or ham. I wasn't sure what you would get so I didn't order it. Could not get a cappuccino and no plate only a saucer to put my croissant on. I wouldn't bother with breakfast and go elsewhere. The fruit in the fruit salad looked fermented so I didn't try it which I would usually,

  A comfortable place to stay for our cycle touring trip with helpful staff and own restaurant

  Liked: Very helpful staff. Secure storage overnight for our cycles. Nice situation with own restaurant which provided good food.

  Great find for an overnight stay

  Liked: Very comfortable room, great to have a plug-in fan in this incredibly hot weather. Parking (€12) onsite was a bonus. The owners were absolutely lovely, extremely welcoming and friendly.

  Needed updating, but nice

  Liked: Great service and friendly staff - owner spoke perfect English.

  Disliked: Hotel was a bit old fashioned, the bathroom was very small and needed work. Breakfast was good, however for 1 euro extra you could get some eggs cooked. It was about 15mins walk from the town with the restaurants and you had to walk down 97 steps to the sea and town. Therefore 97 steps back. We were there 13th May 2026 and we had terrible weather. cold rain and wind.
