  Great location and lovely French feeling apartment

  Liked: Fabulous location. Comfortable and clean. Great sofa bed.

  Disliked: A bit of wear and tear but is that rustic charm?? First world problems but only one roll of toilet paper!

  We enjoyed our stay in a well located area. Two easy improvement suggestions

  Liked: An excellent location as so close to an amazing boulangerie and also an ideal supermarket. Also an easy walk to the seaside. The pedestrian walkway in front of the apartment building was also welcome and added to the quiet friendly safe environment. Also we enjoyed the views from our apartment.

  Disliked: Whilst the apartment thankfully was well equipped with the appliances we appreciate and have been used to, it had no coffee capsules. This was our first experience of this happening. We thought this was an oversight by the manager or staff and kindly requested some coffee capsules for our 3 days stay. We were disappointed with the manager's poor response suggesting we find and procure the coffee capsules ourselves. We were not at all bothered about the cost but the poor solution to our issue. Thankfully we found a shop that sold coffee capsules and cost only 4 Euro for a packet of 10!!. A polite suggestion that in future is to please leave a generous number of inexpensive coffee capsules, especially if customers are staying 3 nights. The other concern is a serious safety issue. A shower over a large slippery bath with no safety rail hand holder and no shower curtain. This concern can easily be rectified as soon as possible before a customer slips and falls and could be easily injured!.

  It was the perfect place to stay in St Jean de Luz

  Liked: Fantastic location. Very roomy. Loved all the windows that let in so much light and fresh air. It was a quiet room. It had everything we needed. The building had a lot of charm and character, and feels old and historic.

  Disliked: The bed was a little firm for my liking but my husband loved it.

  Liked: It is situated right in the center. 10 min to the train station and several steps to the beach. The host kindly helped us with a luggage ( second floor, no elevator). The apartment is clean and comfortable, has everything you need.

  Will go again!

  Liked: Really friendly and communicative manager. The location is stunning just a few minutes walk to the sea front, local market, shops, wine bars, restaurants. Also, the bus and train links are so efficient and inexpensive. The apartment was clean and ready for us, had everything needed to cook and eat in on some nights. Bed was also very comfortable. Views from our apartment at the top were stunning over the roof tops and to the mountain.
