Huge disappointment and doesn’t deliver promised facilities
Liked: The location was good for the Aachen horse show.
Disliked: No onsite parking despite being advertised, no breakfast, despite being advertised, no 24 hour reception despite being advertised, no air conditioning despite being advertised. Bins were not emptied during duration of our stay, so we had dirty nappies in our hot room for 2 days. No garden terrace as unusable due to old furniture piled up there. Receptionist was rude and unfriendly.
Erster Eindruck schlecht, zweiter Eindruck schlechter
Liked: Check-In funktioniert 24/7 an einem Terminal
Disliked: Der erste Eindruck war schlecht, es wurde aber leider schlimmer. Erster Eindruck: Sehr weiche Matratze, ausgefranste Handtücher und viel Staub auf den Oberflächen, sehr schmutzig unter dem Bett. Die Bettwäsche wirkte sauber, aber die Decke selbst war schon gelb. Wenn man das Fenster öffnet, zieht vom Innenhof der Zigarettenrauch ins Zimmer. Als meine Freundin nach dem Check-In in der Dusche war, habe ich einen Käfer im Bett entdeckt. Das war für uns beide zu viel. Es war schon spät (Mitternacht) und wir sind spontan ins Hampton eingecheckt. Am nächsten Tag habe ich mit dem Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption gesprochen, um die Probleme anzusprechen und den Aufenthalt möglichst von 3 auf 1 Nacht zu verkürzen. Der Mitarbeiter hat mir widersprochen: das Zimmer kann nicht schmutzig sein, das bilde ich mir nur ein. Dabei war er unfreundlich und konfrontativ. Der gesamte Rechnungsbetrag musste zum Check-In bezahlt werden. Das Hotel ist trotz des sofortigen Check-Outs und der abgesprochen Probleme nicht auf uns zugekommen und hat den vollen Betrag für 3 Nächte abgebucht. So geht Service nicht. Was ich jedem empfehlen kann, der hier ein Zimmer bucht: am besten jetzt stornieren und direkt zum Hampton gehen, für die Preisdifferenz bekommt man da ein sauberes Zimmer und sogar noch Frühstück.

Very good value, simple & convenient family size room
Liked: Good value for morning Large family room Handy location/walking distance to thermal pool Responsive host Room was quiet despite close location to busy road Nice with door leading to rear terrace & garden The room was cool even during heatwave
Disliked: The kitchen needs to be better stocked with essential items enough for the number of guests, like plates, cutlery and dishwashing items. But this was provided immediately when requested without delay It would be better if the second large bed could be 2 twin beds that separated, more suitable for a family with children
Good value place for short stay
Liked: We booked a triple room and it was big enough and clean with rather comfy beds. The instruction for self check in were clear
Disliked: There were no hot water and no staff to fix the issue and when a staff member arived inthe morning, 20 min after reception opening time, he said there is nothing he could do. Also the furniture wax worn off, but for theshort stay it is bearable
