Good
Disliked: Amenities were non-existant (there is one soap for hand, body and hair). Bed could have been comfier. Was ok for the price
Clean, comfortable hotel. Great location for station and historic town centre
Liked: Great location. There is a sign pointing to it in the train station saying it's only 350m away. Then it's a short walk into town. The decor looks a little dated but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free luggage store. The breakfast choice was good.
Disliked: It is near the station and the grass verge in front of the hotel did seem to be a gathering place for a few people drinking. I didn't have any problem with them, just made sure not to walk on the path via that particular bench in the evening.
Budget type of hotel - it is ok if you travel alone
Liked: Location of the hotel is 5 min walk from train station which gives you advantage to travel in other cities without hassles. Nice and polite staff, clean rooms and good breakfast
Disliked: Room size is significantly small comparing to other countries I've been so far, no much space to move around. Extra payment for breakfast required.
I was charged 4,50 for a bottle of water of 500 ml with a price tag of 3,50 - staff told me the tag was for decoration

Disliked: Staff. The service was awful, I felt ignored and disrespected.
Good hotel in Aachen
Liked: I have visited Aachen many times and stayed here almost every time. It is not a very fancy hotel, but everything meets my requirements. Also good for families and short vacation stays.
Disliked: There has been no change in breakfast for years.
Exceptional! A wonderful welcoming first day in Germany!
Liked: Great location we came in on the train and we hiked the old town. Everything was very close by and it was wonderful seeing the ancient cathedral. Breakfast and the staff were superb.
