  Terrible experience

  Liked: Location.

Disliked: We booked an apartment, assuming it would be a private unit, as is typically the case with properties categorized as "apartments" on Booking.com. However, upon arrival, we discovered that we were only provided with a single room in a shared apartment where the host resides. The entire apartment was filled with her personal belongings — photos, clothing, household items — making us feel like we had intruded into someone else's private life. This is entirely unacceptable and does not meet the standards we have come to expect from Booking.com. None of this was evident from the photos provided on the listing, which is highly misleading. Additionally: - The apartment had a very unpleasant smell of dog odor. - The check-in process was handled not by the host herself but by her neighbor, raising further concerns about the transparency of the service. - We immediately left the property and contacted the host to request a refund. However, she ignored our message and did not respond at all. We have not received any reimbursement from the host. Booking.com gave us a small gift to use in our next travel Thanks to Booking.com!
