This is is an adolescens hostel. Party and noise all day long

    Liked: The mattress was comfortable

Disliked: - When I checked in, just then, I was informed on day 3 of my 5 days stay I had to change my room because they needed my bed for a group as they have priority. This should have been informed BEFORE arrival upon booking to give me- the guest- the choice of keeping my booking with the hostel or cancel it. - I had to leave Berlin for 2 nights for work during my stay, but because they needed me to change rooms, I had to gather my stuff and leave them at reception while I was gone. Big inconvenience. - When I came back I was told my room wasn’t ready when I was supposed to change rooms the day before. Therefore it should have been ready. They tried to make me “check in” at 3 when I never checked out. The new room’s toilet was flooded and dirty. I asked reception to send housekeeping while I was gone. (Mind you this was 2pm) When I came back at 8pm no one had cleaned. I complained and the only solutionon was for me to change rooms. AGAIN. - Moved rooms at 8pm to the 7th floor. The whole floor was occupied by teens who gathered out on the hallway with food and music. I asked reception to tell them to go to the massive community areas they had. Answer “the hallway is a common area. We can only ask them to leave after 10pm” - 10:20pm the floor was a party. No one came to ask them to respect the quiet times. I had to go down and complain again. Security came back with me and scattered them away. - The staff are not prepared nor trained for customer servic. Even the night supervisor had the worse attitude and face expressions when I presented my complaints. - I was in the 4th and then 7th floor and the elevator worked 1 out of the 5 days I was there. Had to climb stairs up and down with my luggage without any assistance. - If you’re traveling solo I wouldn’t recommend this hostel
