Basic accommodation in a good location

Liked: Some staff members were nice (one of the front desk gentlemen and the cleaning lady), but all others were a little standoff-ish or didn't respond when I said hello when entering. The room was relatively quiet, away from the main road, and everything was clean.

Disliked: I could hear noises from other guests, and neighbourhood noise, particularly as I needed to keep the window open the entire duration of my stay, since the weather was so hot, and like most places in Europe, there is no air conditioning. The lift was out of order during my stay, and there were no breakfast options or a fridge in the room for me to cater for myself. The mattress was not very comfortable. I like a firm mattress, but the one I had didn't feel like a proper mattress, and there was not much separating me from the wood underneath.

  Great 2/3* City Centre find

Liked: Uber to Brandenburg Gate area €8. Great staff. Room clean, but no toiletries or extras like tea/coffee etc. Beds very hard. A 2/3* type hotel.

Disliked: No reception staff after 11pm until 8am, although an entry code is provided for main door. No air con, but provided fan. Burger King 5 min walk for breakfast.

A conveniently located functional hotel with helpful staff

Liked: The place is basic but very clean. It is conveniently located. I think it is a good choice if you are doing a stop over for business or to spend the weekend in Berlin.

Disliked: The pillows were not the best but I could use them so it is not so bad.

Liked: Location was good and was easy to access. The staff was really nice.

Disliked: It was extremely noisy. There is a disco in the basement and you can hear the music till 4-5 am, and then you start hearing the other rooms... Impossible to have a good sleep...
