Good 3 star hotel in Central location of Berlin

Liked: Central location. Friendly staff. Places of interest nearby. Lots of bars, restaurants, and cafes close by. Comfort room adequate for our needs. The foyer had a lot of candlelight, which made it a cosy atmosphere. Good transport system on the doorstep. Umberellas are free to use. Beds comfortable.

Disliked: Dark in areas. The bar could offer more options. Rooms are a bit basic but clean. Comfort rooms had more space. Sockets low down. Taps needed tightening. Could do with bigger towels.

Great location and clean rooms, but overpriced water and noisy morning renovations were disappointing

Liked: The hotel was clean and had a great location.

Disliked: Charging €13 for just two bottles of water was absolutely unreasonable. Also, the noise from renovation work early in the morning was very disturbing and disrupted the peace and quiet of our stay.

Perfect for a (not very relaxing) short stay

Liked: The hotel stylish and modern, the checkin procedure very easy and convenient. The location is just perfect, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The shower was particularly nice and spacious.

Disliked: The room was incredibly small and dark, with no window other than an internal, small one in the bathroom. Rooms (and the whole hotel) are dark and painted in blue/black colours, which gives a general unpleasant sense of suffocation. We asked to change room (as I had booked a room with a window) and the staff kindly agreed to move us for our second night. This one was identical, still very small and dark, but having a window did help.
