Except the creepy wall painting, everything is great

Liked: Big room, bathroom, well maintained. Friendly staff.

Disliked: The choice of painting hanged on the wall in the room. Could be a place or abstract.. why a person’s huge face?

  Convenient for the Messe Berlin

Liked: Our third time staying here as hotel is near the Messe Berlin which is great for us attending a convention there. The pool is very good if not a little cold!

Disliked: On two occasions we reported that the fridge was not working in the room, sadly nothing was done about it, meaning that we had to store our milk outside on the balcony, Luckily the weather was quite cold to keep it fresh!

It was depressing - I wouldn’t stay there again

Liked: The location suited us because we went to a wedding dinner nearby

Disliked: The entrance to the Hotel was nice but our room was not. It seemed ‘schmuddelig’, particularly the furniture, and the bed was encased by cheap sideboards so one had to be careful not to bump one’s head. It had no charm whatsoever.

Enjoyable stay and we would stay there again

Liked: Helpful staff and nice room. One of our group used the pool and enjoyed it. Breakfast was quite good - self service and with a wide choice, but rather pricey compared with nearby cafes. Staff were helpful in organising bottled alcoholic drinks for an early evening drink in the garden. The area is very peaceful but convenient for public transport.

Disliked: All fine, apart from the rather expencive breakfast
