  Excellent stay

  Liked: Excellent location Everything you need Really comfortable beds, all proper beds too, no sofa beds. Clear communication Would stay again

  Disliked: The TV in the bed room was not tuned in, English channels limited, but nothing really that worthy of note. We didn't stay for the TV 🙂

  Excellent apartment in a great location

  Liked: Large, comfortable, clean, has every amenity needed. Minutes away from Alexanderplatz and extensive transit connections. Quiet, safe, very enjoyable

  Good location, clean beds, plenty of good clean storage, good kitchen

  Liked: The bedding was clean and so was the everything in the kitchen. The WiFi system worked well. It was good to have the dishwasher and the washer. The drying rack helped too. On the whole the kitchen is well equipped, though one would expect at least pepper along with the salt and a starter dose of coffee and tea.

  Disliked: (1) It was only after we had booked both our flight and the apartment that we were informed that we cannot enter the building until 4 pm. There is no available place to store luggage until access to the apartment is allowed since the only relatively close place (Alexanderplatz Railway station) is renovated. We had no idea what to do with heavy luggage out on the unfamiliar streets. (2) The instructions regarding entry into the building were extremely confusing even for a permanent resident of the building who was helping us. Entry into the apartment once one is inside the building with the code is completely befuddling -- the instructions don't help! Every time we came back it took us 3-6 tries until we managed to get in. The entry system is a definition of 'unfriendly' and of course there is no representative on site to help. (3) The bathroom was clean but there was a very strong unpleasant smell exuding from the shower floor metal grid. We had to fight the stench with our own perfumes -- not a good situation. The tiny bottle of smell-killing spray left by the management was used up on the first day. There were unpredictable rumbling noises day and night coming from the shower area. (4) The TV in the bedroom could not get started, no picture at all, and the TV in the dining/kitchen area could not be tuned into English. Two e-mails to the Holiday Apartments staff asking for help on that issue were ignored. (5) Future travelers should be aware that opening the apartment windows means having to put up with really loud screeching and rumbling noises from the many trams running next to the building from 4:30 am until after midnight. (6) It would have helped to have some information in the unit telling guests about shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. (7) Not even a single suitcase rack.

  Liked: Very well located, very functional, kitchen had everything I needed, and the washing machine was very welcomed

  Disliked: It was really noisy, the tram is on the same street. There was bedding for all the beds but without sheets or pillowcases. On 2 beds were dressed
