  A clean, quiet, safe, and affordable option in the heart of Berlin

  Liked: The hotel is located a 15–20 minute walk from the main train station and the parliament building, tram and metro stations also nearby. The area itself is quiet and peaceful. There are restaurants and a supermarket (REWE, open until 10:00 PM) in the vicinity, and you can find even more shopping and dining options on the nearby Friedrichstraße. The hotel ws clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff are polite. I stayed in a single room, which was a reasonable size for one person and equipped with a safe box, kettle, a small refrigerator, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water. Wi-Fi quality was also good. Considering all these factors, the price is reasonable by Berlin standards.

  Disliked: There isn't really anything I didn't like. Although it wasn't a major issue for me, the hotel is situated within a complex that houses a Catholic church/foundation—a detail that wasn't mentioned at the time of booking, so it came as a surprise. This might be an important point for people of other religions/faiths, as there are religious symbols, such as a crucifix, on the walls. Additionally, the booking indicated a "garden view" room; while there was indeed a view of a garden from the window, the garden also contained a cemetery—it would have been helpful if this had been mentioned!

  Very nice hotel in Berlin

  Liked: Large room, good bed, updated bathroom with great walk-in shower. Close to public transport with lots of restaurants close by. Break buffet was large and varied.

  Disliked: The armchair in the room was quite uncomfortable. I upgraded just for a comfortable chair..
