Liked: The hotel is located in a quiet area of Berlin, yet close to all amenities. The hotel is next to Berlin Zoo and if you select one of the Embassy Rooms you have a view of the Zoo which is an additional bonus. The hotel is very comfortable, beautifully appointed and offers excellent facilities. The breakfast and dinner are excellent. It is very difficult to find a fault with this hotel.

  Disliked: Nothing

Stylish vibe, exceptional dining, and a tranquil location

Liked: Like other SO/ brand hotels, Das Stue leans heavily into a trendy, design-forward aesthetic rather than a classic 5-star atmosphere. The rooms are visually charming and definitely photogenic—complete with fun quirky details like large leather animals—but the rooms sacrifice a bit of functional comfort for the vibe. Location: At the edge of the Tiergarten is ideal—peaceful and green, yet just a quick walk to the Victory Column and a lovely 25-minute stroll through the woods to the Brandenburg Gate. Restaurant: The "Carte Blanche" restaurant is outstanding; the dinner vibe is upscale, and the breakfast menu is exceptional. Team: The staff are all great. Professional, helpful, and friendly. A great pick if you prioritize a trendy design, walkable location, and great food over traditional hotel layouts.

  Fantastic hospitality

Liked: What a lovely stay it was! The team was so hospitable, welcoming and attentive to all the needs. Special shout out to the room service and restaurant - it's no great to have such a delicious dinning without even leaving the hotel. Whole experience was incredibly comfortable and the design of the hotel was just so pleasent with the location right at the steps of a sense of nature and calmness in the city:)

Disliked: Had some issues with AirPlay on the TV and, although the design of the rooms was superb, some shortcomings could be seen (like poorly fixed crack on the wall, chipping floor strips or stains on the armchairs)

  Wonderful staff

Liked: I'm so glad that I stayed at this hotel. Location was perfect for me -- a quiet street that entered right into the Tiergarten; room and public spaces were elegant and comfortable. (Great toiletries too!) But what really stood out to me was the excellence of every staff member i interacted with -- to a person, everyone was so kind and truly welcoming. I've never thought of myself as a zoo person... but actually, getting to enter it through the hotel, and walking around (it's a great zoo!) was a perfect pre-dinner activity on a nice day.

  Decent

Liked: Clean rooms. Great amenities. Small breakfast spread. Need to keep asking for some amenities which aren’t provided in the room but the service is super quick.
