A decent stay, in a well situation location

Liked: The location was great. The sauna was a nice addition. The lobby is very nice which makes it welcoming and a good first impression. There are 4 lifts so the wait times weren’t long.

Disliked: The lack of cleanliness and efficiency of the staff. Some were also quite impolite and unprofessional. I was also told there were vegan options at breakfast but unfortunately this was not the case and we were unable to eat at the hotel.

  Not worth the hassle

Liked: The positive points: The location is good. 2 mins to the underground and 2 mins from two supermarkets. 5 mins to shopping complex. The breakfast is good. Most of the staff tried their best to rectify any issues. And the guest relations manager, John, was excellent in his approach in sorting out my issues.

Disliked: The negative points: Although the majorty of the staff were very good at the hotel, it doesn't change the fact that this hotel has some serious issues. After changing room three times, over my 4 night stay, all three of the rooms occupied had drain issues, most had a horrendous smell. One of the staff tried to put a duvet on the bed which had a huge blood stain. Luckily, I was in the room at the time. The air conditioning does not work/is switched off in autumn and winter and a very hot room means you have to open the windows which can be noisy, even in the atrium. Some of the rooms can be noisy due to hotel machinery making noises all night long. No TV channels in English except BBC news. Very hard/course towels.

  Truly exceeded all expectations

Liked: We recently spent 7 wonderful nights staying at Hotel NH Collection Berlin Mitte am Checkpoint Charlie during our trip to Berlin, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The location is fantastic, making it incredibly easy to step right out and explore the city's iconic sights and vibrant neighborhoods. After long days of walking and sightseeing, sinking into the exceptionally comfortable bed made for a deeply restful night's sleep. What truly made the stay memorable was the outstanding hospitality. Every single member of the team was fabulous, but a special shoutout goes to Piotr. To top it all off the breakfast each morning was simply amazing, offering a delicious and wide-ranging spread to start each day right. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
