  Great location!

  Liked: The location is great for exploring Berlin, and the hotel is very stylish and comfortable. Our room was comfortable, shower was powerful and warm. Rooms were turned down daily, we always received a fresh bottle of water which was welcome. We found food in the restaurant to be reasonably priced and good quality however breakfast was far too expensive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool, sauna and steam room looked amazing, although we didn’t use them. The river cruise was a great experience, and Lime scooters were a fun way to get around when we wanted a break from walking! Both available just outside the hotel. Staff were happy to store our luggage for us as we had an evening flight, which was very convenient. The atrium bar is a lovely setting to relax, when it’s not full as then it gets quite loud.

  Disliked: For the ratings and the price we paid we just felt like it was a little lacking. Although the food in the restaurant was nice, it was extremely noisy and we were very close to other people, uncomfortably so. Breakfast was very expensive, and was just okay. Just little things such as lipstick mark on a fresh napkin, the ‘shampoo’ in the bathroom didn’t clean my hair, although there was tea and coffee facilities in the room there was no milk. We pre ordered a bottle of wine to the room for arrival, they delivered it but without a corkscrew. Overall, the room just felt a little small. We’ve arranged a late checkout but we were disturb several times that morning by staff asking when we were leaving. Just minor inconveniences, but when you’re away on holiday to relax, it’s just a bother you don’t really want when paying for a luxury hotel.
