Great stay in Berlin with spotless rooms, friendly staff, an ideal location and fresh croissants

Liked: I had a fantastic stay. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and my room was spotless. A special mention goes to the fresh, delicious croissants included in the grab-and-go breakfast - such a nice start to the day. The location is also excellent, making it very convenient to get around Berlin.

Disliked: The only minor thing missing was a small fridge in the room, but other than that, everything was perfect.

  Excellent

Liked: The staff were very nice and very helpful. The hotel is very near public mode of transport underground, buses and even the train is a walking distance. Lots of lovely restaurant ie next door proper German restaurant and take away across the street. Room very clean. Its is extremely quiet. The coffee and croissant was great start to the day.

  Fantastic location

Liked: The location is perfect. 5 minutes walk from Berlin Zoo, the shopping area and great for public transport.

Disliked: The room decor is dated, the bathroom could do with updating and a bigger shower (it's easy to nudge the shower tap)

A welcoming, quiet, comfortable stay for a solo traveller

Liked: I was traveling alone to Berlin for a conference and arrived after 11pm. The hotel was amazingly straightforward to locate from Wittenberger Platz U-Bahn, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Check-in was seamless and the room was spotlessly clean, tidy and offered tea/coffee. The hotel itself was quiet on all three nights of my stay (Weds/Thurs/Fri) in October. Wifi was strong and reliable in the room for working online. It's within 5-10minutes of some excellent restaurants - I'd highly recommend the Plant Life restaurant and Bartist cafe on the corner. And I'd happily stay again.

Disliked: The only improvements would be for the cleaners to check the shower gel is full and replace it before the next guest (it was empty) and provide black/Schwartztee and milk cartons for visiting Brits!:-)
