Liked: Location only
Liked: Great Location and easy Check in. Thanks a lot!
Liked: Right in the heart of Bremen where everything is basically at walking distance. Next to all the bars and restaurants and either on foot/metro a few minutes away from the shopping centre.
Disliked: To get the key. You can just pull on the locker near the entrance to open it. Kinda oddly described especially when translating German to English. Don't think you have any climate control available to you (that is visible like the breakerboxes). The tap in the toilet(bathroom) seems to only be connected to cold water. This is not at fault of the apartment but with celebrations in town and current construction. A lot of one way streets are blocked off. Currently construction is happening next door on the left of the apartment. Expect noises at 7:30AM. Hohenpfad is situated right behind and you can between 8AM-6PM only park in 3hr increments. After 6PM you can park for max 15hrs so you can remain parked till 11AM. You have to take some illegal turns which you can waiver as "being a resident of said building". The nearest parking garage is closed because of roadworks. Best alternative is parking at breparkhaus Dom or similar for fixed day and night fees. If you wanna park close but hohenpfad is full, park at contrescarpe.
Lovely stay
Liked: The apartment really very nice and Mr at the men's clothing shop down stairs (sorry, forgot his name) very helpful indeed. Offered his parking but due to construction their truck was parked there and therefore could not park there.
Disliked: Good morning. The pillows on the bed, and the very low bed. Parking worked out 9 euros for 3 hrs, per day 27 euros, which is really easy it off hand. Police were there all the time to check and you had no way to get out of that. Parking very disappointing.
Spacious apartment for two. Value for money with basic amenities
Liked: Good location, close walking distance to old town. Spacious apartment with a comfy double bed. It was helpful that we were able to check in an hour early.
Disliked: The net curtains were ragged. My son found nail clippings on the sofa. We brought our own soap as we read in previous reviews there were none supplied but there wasn’t even a soap dish or anywhere we could temporarily place our own one. WiFi was next to none, it wouldn’t connect anywhere outside the dinning table area. I messaged the host on day 1 regarding wifi alternatives but never heard from them at all. It was extremely noisy as it was on the main road.
Liked: Location was key for us
Disliked: The towels - poor quality and not enough of them. We had to purchase additional towels.
