    The shining

    Liked: Was a short stay

Disliked: It’s an outdated hotel. That seems taken from a scene of the movie “the shining” If you want to experience how was to stay in while the 70’s it’s a great place for that. The staff were correct, there were there and interact as any npc The best were the “smiley” faces they draw on the hard boiled eggs form the breakfast, or maybe were scared faces and also the old metal heavy keychain old school bulge bring memories from the early 80’s. The good part of it that you can use it as self defense if needed. The area is dodgy to say the least, with locals outside dealing with their own problems quite publicly and “engaging” in their rant with the people who walk by Even with all, a good value for the money and you have story to tell

    Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: When we arrived at the hotel, it turned out our reservation didn't exist. The receptionist was young, immature, inexperienced and rude. She didn't keep us appraised of the problem and wound up sending us to a different hotel where she had apparently managed to get us another booking. This second hotel had no record of this reservation and what followed was worthy of a bad comedy. The second receptionist wound up calling her and then relaying the address of a third hotel. The first receptionist had given us the wrong name and address of the hotel. She then promptly hung up on me, not before yelling at me, as I was trying to figure out what had happened. The entire experience of getting a new hotel marred our trip. Thanks Hotel Bremer Haus.

An overall comfortable stay, but hotel staff service to be desired

Liked: The bedroom was quite comfortable, as well as the bathroom, and the breakfast was copious and varied. The hotel is positionned very well, with the station being a few minutes walk away.

Disliked: I was supposed to stay three weeks at the hotel, but due to circumstances, I've had to shorten my stay at the hotel a week early. While I've managed to get a certain amount of money as a refund, I couldn't get the hotel staff to send me a detailed invoice of the refund. My booking reservation still shows three weeks instead of the two weeks I've actually spent there, despite repeated calls and mails to the staff afterwards, which is quite disappointing.
