  Terrible experience - AVOID

  Liked: Not much.

  Disliked: I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this stay fell well below my expectations. Before I had even arrived, I received multiple emails questioning whether I had been truthful about the number of guests staying in the apartment. I had booked the property for one person and replied to the first email confirming that I was travelling alone for work. That should have been sufficient, yet I continued to receive emails implying otherwise. It was not a welcoming start to my stay. The location also made me feel uncomfortable. Personally, I would not have felt comfortable bringing children or a family to this area, open drug use and gangs only a few streets away during my walk from the station. The most concerning incident occurred during my stay. I was about to take a shower and was wearing only a towel when two men unlocked the apartment door with a key and entered without knocking or giving any prior notice. They did not identify themselves before entering, and at the time I had no idea who they were. They later said they were there to check the water, but I asked them to come back later. It was a significant invasion of my privacy, and I can only imagine how distressing this would have been for someone staying alone who felt more vulnerable ie a lady. Regardless of the reason for the visit, guests should always receive prior notice unless there is a genuine emergency. When I reported the incident to the property management, they initially told me they did not know who the men were. I had to repeatedly ask them to investigate the matter before they agreed to contact the landlord. I found that response almost as concerning as the incident itself. Finally, I received an email prior to checkout with was unnecessarily patronising. Guests were instructed to clean the apartment and take out the rubbish before leaving at 10:00. 10:00 is incredibly early also for a check out by any standard.

  Liked: It was very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was a central location.

  Disliked: The noise from the pub downstairs was extreme 3 out of the 5 nights that we stayed there. The music was very loud. Also, you can smell the cigarettes smoke and the kitchen fumes in one of the rooms. The armchairs in the living room look beautiful but they are very uncomfortable. The apartment location is good but we found out that it is a well known place for drugs. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable.

  All in all, it’s a great apartment in a great location. Ideal for bigger families or groups

  Liked: Well located near the main train station. Lovely decorated, comfortable beds with clean and fluffy bedding, full large bathroom with additional toilet.

  Disliked: Depending on the day of the week, the restaurant/bar underneath the apartment may get very noisy.

  AMAZING! WORTH EVERY CENT AND SO MUCH MORE!

  Liked: We loved this apartment. We stayed here for the expo week and because of how close it was to the subway, we were able to get around quite easily. It was also decorated tastefully, was very clean. The host was more than kind and helped us out with any/every requests. Even the cleaning staff was very kind:) We hope to stay here again for the next SMM for sure!

  Disliked: We think this amazing apartment deserves better pillows. Not necessarily down pillows, but just better quality.
