Exceptional
A quirky gem, full of thoughtful touches which makes the perfect base to explore Hamburg. Highly recommend and will ret
Liked: The location made the perfect base for our short break. What we didn’t expect was all the thoughtful and brilliant touches such as a day bag available I. The room to borrow, raincoats to borrow, a fab floor to chill out on that wasn’t a lobby complete with games and a vinyl room. A mini bar with beer, water, snacks at no extra cost. Fantastic restaurant where we had one of our best meals ever- felt like really fine dining. Helpful and friendly staff. Room decor was fun and in keeping with Hamburg’s maritime roots. I loved the bright organs bathroom such a cheery way to start the day. Absolutely would recommend and looking fwd to staying in more 25 hour properties now.
Disliked: A few small improvement suggestions for the rooms- we upgraded to a medium plus room- it had lots of under utilised space- I would like to have seen a vanity with mirror outside the bathroom, and a couple of comfy chairs. The latter is off set because of the fab first floor but sometimes you want to be in comfy clothes no shoes to relax. The other missing item that I really think is needed is tea/coffee making facilities in the room and failing that somewhere central can go and get one. (There was one tea available on 1st floor) It was a shame given all the other thoughtful touches that this was missing.

Liked: Great location, within short walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Comfortable beds and quiet hallways at night - easy restful sleep.
Liked: the staff was amazing. above and beyond, friendly, polite and helpful
Disliked: I wasn't a huge fan of the old, broken interior. even plates and cutlery were stained or broken. wasn't sure if this was a style choice and on purpose but for this price I certainly was expecting something else
Liked: Good staff, good restaurant & bar. Nice room. Very good location.
Disliked: No tea / coffee facilities in the room & I hated the pillows. I prefer firm rather than something to soft with no guts. Bit pricey

Liked: Great location and great parking. The very nice receptionist gave us a free upgrade and a quiet room away from the elevators.
Disliked: No coffee making facility in the room!
