Fabulous
We would stay again
Liked: The location was excellent, within walking distance of almost every place we wanted to visit, and public transport in the area was great. It is always such a comfort to be able to return to the hotel and rest in the middle of the day should sightseeing become too much. The hotel itself was spic and span, and the room exactly as we imagined from the photographs. The bathroom was decent size, although the sliding door was obviously not quite the sound barrier one would hope for. I welcomed the option of getting the room cleaned on request, since small garbage bins fill up rapidly. We found the staff helpful before and during our stay.
Disliked: The space was a little limited: suggest taking not more than 2 big suitcases. As the extra bed was a sofa bed, it took away sitting space in the daytime. I would have appreciated it being made up only in the everning, or even having the instructions to revert to the sofa in the daytime and making it ourselves at night. And having some extra crockery and cutlery instead of the basic minimum would have been very helpful. Minor changes in the kitchen amenities such as kitchen paper towels or paper napkins, a dish drying rack or pad, dish washing sponge, more than the single dishwasher tablet would make the kitchenette so much more functional.
Liked: It was really good
Liked: Good breakfast, good room
Disliked: We were travelling for work and there was no internet the time we were at Adina, so we could not work and write reports for our audit, it was very stressful. When asking the staff, they just said, "sorry, there is nothing we can do". We asked for alternative maybe coffee shop nearby or something "sorry, we cannot help.
I will not be choosing Adina again
Liked: Location
Disliked: This is my fourth visit to Adina Speicherstadt, but the first time I have been truly disappointed. The staff was impolite, and the breakfast selection offered no light or healthy options — almost everything was greasy or sweet. On top of that, the rooms and hallways lack appeal and look rather worn.
Wonderful accommodation
Liked: Everything at the hotel—from its location, the reception, and the breakfast to the room cleanliness and comfort—was excellent. I would also like to thank Charlotte at the reception for her support.
Disliked: I loved everything
