Great hotel, nice and friendly staff

Liked: The hotel is great! Very nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast. The hotel is in the center, in a very convenient location, next to the central station.

Disliked: The hotel area is poor, it does not seem very safe.

Great staff, great decoration, careful with location

Liked: Amazing decoration. Very old and weird at first but the details once you pay attention to them makes everything very cool and nice for photos. The staff was incredibly nice, except the lady at breakfast who was asking us to pay all the time while we were still eating. The people at the front desk are 10 out of 10.

Disliked: The location is complicated, we did not feel safe walking there at night and it wasn’t close to any touristic sites, just close enough to the train station.

Lovely old style hotel in a convenient location

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful old style decor. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Walking distance to train station and central Hamburg. Some great restaurants nearby.

Disliked: It didn’t particularly bother us but the surrounding area is a bit ‘seedy’. To be expected in a big city near the main train station. Nonetheless we actually found it quite interesting and even entertaining, and never felt unsafe at all.

Liked: I booked this hotel for my parents. They absolutely loved everything about it - the room design, the cleanliness, the staff and their amazing breakfast. Now I am looking forward staying there as well!

My home away from home when staying in Hamburg

Liked: Love the room decor and the comfortable bed. Also the staff at the reception are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very near the main train station which is very convenient.

Disliked: The fridge doesn’t work in room 10. I don’t consider it a detractor, but another guest might.
