  Too bad experiences

  Disliked: The housekeepers started knocking the door at around 9 am in the SUNDAY MORNING and continued until the check out time (3 knocking and one attempt to entry to the room). When I went to breakfast hall the woman standing in the entrance did not allow me because the breakfast will be ending within "15 minutes" and adviced me to go to the second breakfast hall in the other building. My adventure continued in the second hall and one of the servicing woman asked for my ROOM CARD and even checked its functionality. I was the ONLY person who was checked by asking the card rather than asking simply my room number. I was exposed to a clear DISCRIMINATION as I was probably the only foreigner in the breakfast. So overall they made catastrophic mistakes behaving very amateur behind a noble appearance.

  Liked: Good location and wasn't noisey at night which I was worried about as we were exhausted. Very comfortable beds. Nice room, good size. Staff were lovely. Looked after our bags for the rest of the day in a secure room after checkout.

Please note that guests have to climb ca. 100 steps from the Landungsbrücken station to Hotel Hafen Hamburg. Guests with limited mobility can choose to exit at the St. Pauli station.
