  Room was spacious, car parking was close by and secure. location great and good food options close

  Liked: very good location, walking distance to most things, great little food places nearby. hotel is just beside the main river (tourist area) and public transport not far away either.

  Disliked: very small lift, not good if you're claustrophobic.

  Great location of this superb boutique hotel

  Liked: Great location and superb staff!

  Disliked: Could have been cheaper but then again all hotels in Hamburg during the convention were expensive.

  You could hardly find better location for exploring Hamburg, but with the downsides

  Liked: Perfect location, nice old building, comfortable bed, good breakfast.

  Disliked: Noise in the street, airconditioner, which works silently but changes modes loudly, sticky floor in the bathroom (bottom of provided new slippers went black in couple days), fluctuating water temperature in the shower, week wifi.

  okay… but could be better

  Liked: the location is good…. right at the doorstep of a very expensive Edeka, and the U-bahn…. across the street and you are at the Landungsbruecke…. so location is very nice!

  Disliked: on check-in, the lady was super nice, and very informative… and quick to get me in and give me the key. on check-out, another lady… was very unfriendly and a bit rude, no questions about how was your stay, just “you need to pay the taxes…” so this alone, will keep me from coming back…. and the timy little room for 90 euros a night… seems a bit much.

  In principal good value for money

  Liked: The location was ideal. 5 minutes from the harbour with a choice of fish restaurants and in the Portugese district with all the Portugese restaurants and cafes. Local transport also five minutes away and the Michel 10 minutes by foot. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want at a reasonable price.

  Disliked: Room was very small and the hotel has no seating area if you didn't want to sit in the room. We were told at check-in that breakfast was inclusive but on paying found it was not. We would have taken breakfast on 3 of the 4 mornings anyway but I found this comment very off-putting.
