Nice hotel in Hamburg's warehouse district

Liked: This hotel is what I expect from a Motel One hotel: nice design, comfortable bed, and a decent location (this one is near Hamburg's Speicherstadt/warehouse district, and roughly a 7-minute walk from an S-bahn station). The rooms are a nice size, too.

Disliked: The bar in the lobby is very trendy and pretty, but it's also where they have breakfast in the morning, and there's not really enough space for everyone; there was always a line for breakfast, and many of the seats aren't at actual tables. And, like most other Motel One hotels, there are no coffee machines or kettles in the room.

Superb hotel in a great location

Liked: This hotel is superb. It's in a great location with the Elbphilarmonie at the end of the street, near the harbour area and easy access to Rodingsmarkt tube stop. The hotel is spotlessly clean, my room had a wonderful balcony with deck chairs where I could watch the sun go down. The look and decor makes it feel more expensive than it is, but the vibe is still relaxed. Breakfast is plentiful and the bar area on the ground floor is a wonderful place to sit on an evening and watch the world go by. Highly recommend.

  Disliked: Nothing! It was great.

  Historic Warehouse District

Liked: We enjoyed the conveniently located hotel a lot. Early birds catch a quiet breakfast. The 'Speicherstadt' is a fascinating area in Hamburg and the views from the room were great.
