Great location, but disappointing service made for an underwhelming stay

Liked: The location was great and very convenient, especially when travelling for work. The breakfast area was also really nice, with a pleasant atmosphere and a comfortable setting.

Disliked: When I arrived well over an hour after the official check-in time, my room was still not ready. The man at reception simply told me to wait, without offering any explanation or indication of how long it would take. After waiting for another 30 minutes in the lobby, watching a different receptionist check in several other guests, I finally went up to ask what was going on. To my surprise, he said he had no idea why his colleague had told me to wait and checked me in immediately. To make matters even stranger, I was given an accessible room instead of the standard room I had booked, with no explanation. The breakfast was also disappointing, and the overall selection was quite limited. The room itself was fine, but the ventilation seemed poor, the air felt stale and stuffy, and the windows couldn't be opened to let in any fresh air. There was also a strange, unpleasant smell in the hotel's main common areas, which didn't exactly add to the experience. Overall, despite the great location and pleasant breakfast area, the experience was disappointing. The disorganised reception service, poor communication, mediocre breakfast and uncomfortable room conditions really brought down what could otherwise have been a good stay. Luckily, I spent most of my time out and about and mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep, so it wasn't too much of an issue in the end.

Disliked: Breakfasts could be better but not a big deal to me.

Not going to stay there again. It would help if staff actually could do something about the noise complaint and change b

  Liked: Location

Disliked: Cleaning service, bed wasn’t comfortable at all, service desk wasn’t helpful at all when it came to noise complaint. Very disappointing
