  I would never go back

  Liked: Good position, good breakfast

Disliked: Self service reception is really not good, could make any request for my room. Room was cold and impossible to heat. No coffee machine, no fridge, no boiler to make a tea. No extra blanket (had to ask for that). 650€ for 3 nights with this level of service was definitely too much.

Liked: Great & beautiful location in the central part of Hamburg, close to several public transportation train stations/bus stops. 'Older' office building(?) made into a hotel in a successful way. Quirky room and good feel reception/bar area. Friendly helpful staff. In our choice of hotel, the location of being very close to a train station along the S1-line (direct from the airport) was a major reason... just choose the correct exit and then it's just a block away.

Disliked: Two minor things... The sign of the hotel on the building facade is quite discrete in daytime and we actually stood opposite the street, in the rain as an excuse but we missed the building passing by...twice! In the evening it's lit up and more visible. Checking in and out can be a bit chaotic when the same staff assisting is also taking care of the bar/breakfast. The reception is automated but for us of age, that's not always fully clear in how to proceed...but once again the staff was helpful in between servings.

  Good value and location

Liked: It is in a good location and very clean. Good value for Hamburg as well. Nice bar downstairs as well and comfy bed.

Disliked: No bedside table in my room so had to use a chair! Check in was a bit chaotic with self check in but it was possibly as it was very busy when we arrived due to a conference taking place in Hamburg
