Exceptional
Well located, comfortable hotel for our cycle holiday
Liked: We stayed at this hotel as part of our cycling holiday down the Rhine and was well placed for this. The hotel was comfortable and friendly. There was a secure underground storage area for bicycles in the car park. The hotel provided some simple meals which were good and saved us venturing out again.
Good choice in Konstanz with secure parking
Liked: - Excellent Parking: The hotel features secure underground parking. The ramp and parking spots are wide enough to comfortably accommodate low-clearance sports cars (note: extra charges apply). - Clean & Welcoming: The rooms were absolutely spotless, and the staff was very friendly. - Great Location: There is a beautiful green space by the river just around the corner, and the old town is a convenient 15–20 minute walk away.
Disliked: - Initial Room Issue: Our first room was missing a TV. The staff promptly relocated us to a new room, which we appreciated, but the switch took up some time and energy after a long day of travel. - The specific elevator that connects to the garage was out of order. This made hauling our luggage to and from the car a bit bothersome. - Keep in mind that parking spaces are somewhat limited, so the garage may fill up quickly during peak occupancy.
Exceeded Expectation
Liked: Modern, spacious, comfortable suites. Staff (aka 'crew') were great. We appreciated the 24/7 coffee in the lobby and the availability of rental bikes. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to find. Parking is limited but we were able to secure a spot in the front. Excellent stay in all respects.
Liked: Friendly, helpful staff and a bright comfortable room in a good location. We appreciated the little touches like tea and coffee available 24/7 in the reception area. The hotel had a nice feel and character. A good base from which to explore Konstanz.
Disliked: We didn't opt for breakfast as there were very limited vegan options (essentially just bread and jam, by the sounds of it), so it would be great if this could be improved.
