  Spacious and charming

  Liked: I can only speak for the apartment I was in: ‘Therese’, in Fleischauerstrasse. A charming, airy and spacious apartment, one of several in an old house and above a soup restaurant (!). Effectively a duplex, with the bedroom on an upper level. Quiet, although it is in a relaxed and lively area with cafes, shops, restaurants and bars in the centre of the Altstadt. Five minutes from a large supermarket, and maybe 15 minutes from pretty well all the sights. Clean and comfortable, and the washing machine was a real bonus. Although this is not listed in the description, there is also a microwave!

  Disliked: There were a couple of minor maintenance issues when I was there: the wooden floor creaked a lot in places, and the kitchen tap periodically dripped. Neither of these were deal-breakers. Although I was not bothered, anyone with mobility issues should note that this apartment is on the second floor, up several flights of stairs, and the bedroom is up a fairly steep additional flight. I expect other apartments in the building will be different.

  Liked: The apartment is in a great location and was easy to reach and access after a very long train journey. It's on a busy street but the apartment itself (Ida) was quiet and peaceful, with a very comfortable bed! It's a great base to explore Lubeck.

  Disliked: We always do a bit of cooking when we get an apartment and some wooden stirring spoons would be great 😃

  Overall ok if not for the second bed and the roof pigeon problem

  Liked: Overall gret location and good appartment, remodeleed in the old town building. Staff resoonsive, location great, faurly easy to find. The city has no old - town parking, must use parking facilities abound old town, all good.

  Disliked: We were staying 3 persons and the second bed was retractebke cauch. It would be fine if it had at least thin mattress on top of the faux leather working surface. Just a bed sheet on faux leather does not work! And then the pigeons… The appartment has bedrom directly under the roof, which lacks sound insulation. So the feeling is that pigeons or bigger bitds wlk directly over your heads, doing their things starting from 5 am.

  Liked: I attended a conference and the location was excellent. I was able to walk to the venue. The facilities were great, especially the water pressure in the shower. It was an old apartment building and contained a fridge, washing machine and a fitted out kitchen. There was even coffee left for me. The keys were easily accessible and as a traveling individual I felt safe and slept well. Despite being an older building with slightly wonky flooring, it is a clean and comfortable stay. Thank you and I would book it again.
