  Comfy stay in central Lübeck

  Liked: Great central location, light and spacious studio with all necessary amenities for a short stay, happy that our dog was welcome too. We were on the second floor and had a roof terrace, which was a pleasant surprise.

  Disliked: The mattress seemed to be ready for a replacement (started to sag) and I think there are better / cleaner ways to deter pigeons from the terrace than the nasty gel/glue that is placed everywhere.

  Not too many places we say we would stay again, but this is one we would!

  Liked: After we got the hang of the coded entry instructions, it had everything we needed with a kitchenette and laundry down stairs. Bob was around in the mid morning or afternoon and available online so that was nice. We didn't utilize them, but lots of extras available in room, like shopping sack, yoga mat, hair dryer etc. That was a nice touch. We felt it was a short walk to old town so we liked location, then you can spit on the train station the other direction yet never heard one! About 4 parking spaces in front and we felt lucky to have gotten one.

  Disliked: With no front desk we had to add our passport online, which was a bit odd. Our concern was that it is all keyless so you have to download on your phone the entry app and must use it to get in your room every time, no leaving phone behind or having battery die. Worried us at first but then just made sure it was on both our phones.

  Overall, the apartment made a very good impression, and we would be happy to stay there again

  Liked: The apartment is located very close to the train station and within walking distance of the historic city centre. It is equipped with everything you need. There were also some nice little touches, such as good tea, coffee, salt, pepper, and dishwashing liquid. The apartment has been recently renovated, and the furniture is new and comfortable.

  Disliked: The shower cabin is small, and water was leaking from it.

  Excellent accommodation just outside city gate

  Liked: Elegant, quiet, comfortable, great location. Very spacious well appointed room in beautiful property just outside old town gate. Many thoughtful touches. Good welcome and good arrangements for leaving luggage after check out time.

  Disliked: Guest information and access are organised via phone app which we found a bit tedious but got used to. Breakfast is via a voucher scheme with certain cafes in the town. Michael gave us info about the cafes but all are in the town, not nearby and most only open at 10.00. Not great if you are leaving via the station which is in the other direction.

  Nice alternative to a hotel

  Liked: Very nice spacious room near the train station and in walking distance to the old city. Luggage storage etc all very handy.

  It was a well kept place in a good location

  Liked: The room was fresh and modern yet in an old building. It was close to the central station and a short walk to the old town. The modern windows kept the noise out.

  Disliked: The room was advertised as an apartment yet there were no cooking facilities and no refrigerator. I should have checked facilities more carefully however I believe it shouldn’t be advertised as an apartment if it does not supply at least a toaster, refrigerator and some cutlery, also the room was very hot. It did have a fan but no air conditioning. You could open the window however it was on a very noisy road. And being in an old building it was impossible to cool the room down. Of course this would be no problem in autumn to spring.
