  Liked: The staff was very nice. The small room was colorfully decorated. The breakfast area was in a sun room, so bright and pretty.

  Disliked: There was no news in English on the TV. No elevator.

  Wonderful, charming quirky hotel with friendly staff and excellent location and parking

  Liked: Is the hotel building old? Yes. Are there stairs to climb? Yes. Is the room a bit old fashioned? Again, yes. BUT, the charm and character of this lovely place is just too great to miss, and the owners and staff are so helpful and attentive that I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to stay where you are made to feel welcome. The room price is budget, but the location is priceless! Add to this the excellent parking that is offered, and this is a must stay hotel. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Yes, one more thing... They offered to do my dirty laundry 💝 That is a 4 star hotel service and not what one expects from a budget hotel. My go to hotel in Lubeck from now on.

  Cute hotel, comfortable location

  Liked: The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. The rooms were also practical. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste, but I know that this is really a personal preference. I really loved the green inner yard with the trees, because the inhabiting birds were constantly singing. It was lovely! They also gave me a tourist map at check-in, which was very handy!

  Liked: A bright, quirky, inclusive family-owned hotel in a picturesque location Super kind, helpful staff Interesting homemade items in the breakfast buffet We loved the view from our room over the roofs of the Old Town. We also enjoyed eating breakfast outside on the balcony as we had good weather

  Disliked: Just a point to note: Mobility-impaired travellers should be aware that there is no lift and rooms are spread over several floors with a short set of stairs up to reception from street level. This is made clear in the hotel description
