Very good overall, with two minor complaints

Liked: (We stayed in a private bunk bed room) Staff were very friendly and the gentleman greeting us could speak fluent English and German. Explained how the key cards and locks worked in detail. Good location next to lots of convenient shops and restaurant, 15 mins walk from Lübeck HBF and 2 mins from bust stop to Lübeck airport. Room was clean and includes a desk, wardrobe and a good sized sink with mirror. Mattresses had encasements which is much appreciated. Free breakfast was really tasty with lots of options. Despite being shared, the showers and toilets were spotless.

Disliked: Room was quite hot at night despite both windows open and it not being a particularly warm night. Bedding provided was clean but not very comfy at all- that being said, you don’t expect comfy bedding in hostels.
